Hello from MN

Hello!
I just built a V2 Max in my dorm room. I'm a freshman mechanical engineering student, and building it was a blast. And I've been getting some surprisingly good prints for how short of a time I've been printing (I think)!
Printing a low-poly Totodile in ABS right now, actually.
Specific questions:
-What's best for bed adhesion (I've heard hairspray, ABS slurry, etc, and I've been using Elmer's purple glue)?
-What's the best way to clean the glue off the glass bed?
-What's the best way to start printing in PLA? I have two spools each of PLA and ABS and I'd like to use both types. I have both fans installed.
Any other advice for starting out is welcome!
Cheers,
Connor

Hello from Minnesota, 7 years out of mechanical engineering.

Water removes glue. Pei is the best bed material. PVA is really good for petg.
