Hi Everyone,
Now that my machine is done, I have started doing some awesome 3D printing. However, I am having a recurring issue that I don't understand how to fix. I am printing with ABS filament at 228C, bed is at 80C. Anything over a few mm has small cracks between some layers. See an example here:

The cracks may be hard to see (I couldn't get a focused shot that close), but you can barely see four cracks on the right hand edge of the tardis and a couple on the left hand side. Any help in determining the cause would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: Cracks in ABS
ABS tends to do that. You can try printing hotter although you might need a heated chamber in the end.
Re: Cracks in ABS
Would the same thing happen with PLA filament?

Re: Cracks in ABS
Typically not or at least not as easy. PLA doesn't tend to wrap or crack as much as ABS.
