Welcome to the forum!
How close are you? You'll have to show us your first print!
Do you belong to any of the maker or hackerspaces in Chicago?

I am installing the electronics although I had to skip the construction of the arms for the time being. Mine was one of the units that got caught up in the transition to the new version and was missing the bearings. An email and a quick response later and the matter was resolved. I picked up my unit in Goshen and cannot say enough kind things about the service I have received. Even though I'm sure he was busy with many other things, John took the time to answer all my questions and pass on some advice. My head is swimming trying to understand the software side of all this. I don't belong to any of the maker spaces. It seems like I am equidistant from all of them so travel is a challenge.

After a while your mind will be an accomplished swimmer, all it takes is time and the desire to learn.
