Z-Probe for E3D-V6

I've needed a Z-Probe for a while, and I've had these micro-microswitches laying around, so I decided to get started on making a bracket this evening.
I've been scheming about a design that snaps onto the heater block of my E3D, and I've seen a few similar designs that use full size switches, but that just seemed too bulky.
So, a few prototypes later and I'm printing what I hope is my final mount!

I'll let you know if it works or not and then post the files once it does. Stay tuned...

Certainly looks like it will work. I'll have to wire it up and give it a try later this week.

I like this. Do you have a source for the switches so if it works out it can be used by others? I am going to give this one a go and see how it works out.
https://miscsolutions.wordpress.com/min ... sor-board/ I like what I have seen so far and it seems to be able to stay in place even while printing. But I like the dead simple micro switch idea. I HAVE to get a Z probe going ASAP so I can figure out what the deal is on my printer after going to an event. Driving me nuts trying to work it out s I am going to do the auto calibrate as soon as I have the Z probe of some kind working. Even after getting it within .02mm on the dial incinerator at all 4 points of the "old" method, it is not working right.. Might be the last time I take my printer out to an event for a while after this issue.
Looking forward to hearing how this works for you.

wow im 100000% certain this will work please share the stl files im currently using a mount like this
http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:892717
and it gets the job done but my offsets are not very accurate so its my fault for it not beeing 100% accurate yours looks like there would be MUCH LESS OFFSET im looking for something like this for WEEKS
please share the stl files i would love to instantly try these out with my current microswitch setup:)
edit: damnit i just found some microswitches laying around but only the bigger ones where did you get the small one with the bend connectors?
i really need to learn 3d modelling since i couldnt even redesign it to make it fit for mine

Here's where I got the switches:

If you catch them on sale, you can buy a pack of 50 for $10.

Nice design but why you not using proximity probe?

I'll design a mount for one of those eventually, too.
I wanted one like this so that there wasn't any XY offset from the nozzle and so that I didn't have to take anything apart to mount it.
