Multi-material extrusion and different infill settings

Post by euanfoster »

Hey all,

I have been experimenting with multi-material extrusion recently and current using a replicator 2x to do dual extrusions. Attached is a photo of my latest one of the rotor cuff joint in the shoulder and comprises of ABS and PU. I was wondering if there is anyway to differ the % infill for the different nozzles i.e. 100% infill on material 1 and 10% infill on material 2? I have experimented with custom profiles on makerware but I can't seem to find this option. Additionally we are developing our own printer capable of printing 4 materials at once so are open to all forms of suggestions with using different firmware and slicer options or even manually editing the G-Code.

If anyone know how to change this it would be a big help to myself.
