Hello from Portland OR

Hello All,

My name is Matt, I live near Portland, OR and have just got into 3D printing. I recently purchased a Rostock Max v2 kit and got it assembled and working good. I wanted to join the forum so i could learn how to get it more finely calibrated to increase my print quality. I plan on doing a few mods to the printer (e3d, delta arm joints, power supply) but I want to try to get the best out of its factory setup first. I work for Proto-Pasta right now and am mostly using our filament, but I want to expand to some other materials soon. I hope I will be able to contribute here at some point.

Thanks,
Matt

Welcome to the club! Proto-Pasta are good folks, I met them at the 3D printing expo in Bellevue, you should show us some prints with PC-ABS and the other exotic stuff you have there. :D

...and give us a discount

Proto-Pasta is my most favorite filament that I've never tried. :)

Welcome to the Forum, Matt.
Thanks for purchasing the Rostock Max V2 and I would love to see a picture of your printer.
I am sure that as time goes by you will contribute to the forum but if you have a question please send us a message.
Happy Printing!

Thanks for the welcome guys.

I don't think the admins would love me giving out discounts on here as SeeMeCNC sells our filament in their store.

I will be making some thread in the filaments section for showing off some pasta prints and helping those who are having issues/questions. If anyone does need any help with running pasta I'm more than happy to help.

Here is a pic of my desk with my rostock max v2, I did steal my wifes desk for 3d printing....
