Guard for cheapskate ?

Has anyone designed a guard for Rostock Max V2 cheapskate?

This week I was trying to print a large model that's about 10" wide and the print ran into issues when the wire bundle got stuck. I attacked 3 pictures showing what it looks like when the wire bundle gets caught. I was going to design one and post it online so others can use it, but before I do, I thought it would be good to see of others have come across this issue.

Anyone know of guards for the cheapskate?

thanks

Hi jesse,

I see from the picture the cheapskate uses a different design. Is that custom or from a different delta design?

thanks

Jesse has a V1 Rostock MAX. That is the old cheapskate design, when the carriage mounts were in the middle instead of the top. They also had a 5th bearing that was a bit wonky to position.
