Second Rostock Max II

This is the second Max II my business partner and I have done. On the first he did all the physical build and I finished the firmware, software, setup and tuning. For the second, I wanted to get a feel for the assembly. So I did the second one completely. Spent about 6 hours Monday, another 3 Tuesday got virtually all the physical build done, and finished the firmware, software, setup and tuning today in a couple of hours. Everything went pretty well other than a couple of self inflicted errors on my part that caused some back tracking.
I was somewhat familiar with the build manual and had put over a mile of filament through the first machine and was very familiar with how things worked. I believe, after one or two more builds, with some prep work on the assembly area it could be done in an honest, uninterrupted 8 hour session, but wouldn't bet my life on it, lol.
We have a few more mods to try on our number two and look forward to the MRRF this weekend for ideas and discussions. Thanks SeeMeCNC and Geneb for a kit that is complete, and build manual that is accurate and concise. As a guy who has written a lot of product manuals and assembly instructions, I can really appreciate what goes into it.
