Calibration - Run out of travel in screws

I'm calibrating the printer, and for the Z tower calibration, I can no longer raise the screw anymore though the hot end is not yet low enough. Additionally, I can no longer tighten the screw for the Y tower calibration, though I need to raise the hot end for that one.
Any thoughts as to how to overcome this?

Start over. Set all of the end stop screws back to where it shows in the manual. Then set you Z=Height through the LCD screen. then start the process over. I think you just got off somewhere. Your screw adjustments should only be made in small increments and each time you adjust one, you need to reset your Z-height in through the LCD screen.

This is one of those situations like running out of space on a mousepad. ^I agree^, reset all of your screws to the approximate mid-point where you'll have the most travel in both directions, and start the leveling process over again.
You shouldn't have to use the leveling screws to set your ZHeight though. Do that with your EEPROM or on the LCD menu, don't move 3 screws to change one measurement.

check out the threads, in one there is artexmg's post. A nice excell is provided, and you do not have to do anything with the screws. I use it all the time. Excellent work on his part.

The SeeMeCNC calibration video says to reset your Z-height each time you adjust a screw. I followed that plan and it worked out well for me.

I said that poorly, sorry.
You will have to adjust your Z height after you move the leveling screws, yes. But you shouldn't be using your leveling screws to adjust the z height. If that makes sense.

Now we are in agreement
