HELP - Printer will not home any longer

Hi All-

Just packed the electronics and put the case extras on my printer today and sparked it up to do another test print and now I've hit something VERY weird.

I wanted to do a recalibration, so I redid the 'Set 0' procedure.

Well, when I send a G28 command, or hit the home command on the LCD interface, the whole thing crashes into the glass bed!! Same thing if I issue the command from MatterControl.

It's like the motors are backwards all of a sudden. I have previously been able to home and calibrate and print without an issue.

In fact, today while I was packing the electronics, I kept sending the Home command to make sure everything was cool while I dressed the electronics an all that. It would glide up the top of the towers and touch off no problem.
Now, all of a sudden, I cannot home. What happened?!?!?!

Well, reflashing the Rambo seemed to do the trick. Now I'll need to redo the steps after that, but it could be worse.

I don't know if turning it on and off several times today scrambled something.

Any thoughts?

I'm not sure about the cause, but I had the same issue on a Delta and was able to fix it by going into the configuration and resetting the z-length - for some unknown reason it was negative. Setting it back to positive 235 fixed the problem.

When you get things the way that you like them, print out your configurations and save them - then if something goes haywire - or if you have to reset - you will be able to put things back exactly.

Thanks! Sadly I reflashed everything and started over. I'd love to know why so I don't do it again.

I had this happen yesterday when I inadvertently clicked on the zero Z-height setting on the control panel on the Max...it set it to zero where ever the Skates were and when I'd hit home it would drop about 5cm, recalibrated the Z-height and all was well again but it took me some puzzling to figure out what had happened.
