I'm new to 3D printing and need help converting Google Sketch Up files to .stl Can someone help me with this, please?

Also our District computer tech will be installing AutoDesk Inventor on my machines soon. What software will convert objects made in Inventor to .stl?

Thanks in advance

Both programs should be able to export by themselves. Inventor has an Export as CAD format command, just use the drop down menu to select STL and the options button to change the export units to mm. Sketchup I don't use, so you'd have to figure that one out unless someone else knows.

You need a plug in for Sketchup to stl
Look here:
https://extensions.sketchup.com/en/content/sketchup-stl

And yes inventor will offer a drop down menu to save directly to stl.
