X3 Pro won't connect via USB

Post by Nylocke »

It worked before (obviously, since I uploaded firmware to it) but now my computer simply won't connect to it, it won't even recognize it? If I switch the power jumper to USB and plug it in it gets power to turn on. I'm trying to change some EEPROM settings for the tower angles, get my printer printing more flat, I don't know what happened.

Ive tried 2 different USB cables, and I have a spare RAMPS that I used to verify that both cables are good. They are, and Cura recognized a printer was connected. When I plug the X3 in Cura doesn't recognize a printer, and both repetier host and Arduino IDE can't connect/upload.

You might have to reinstall the driver, I have one of the very first X3's and it uses a different FTDI chip than the other arduino based boards I have here.

I feel dumb, lol. I forgot I reset my computer (reinstalled the OS) so I didn't have the drivers anymore. Thanks Poly.
