Hi there,

I am a new owner of a Orion Delta (received it Friday). I am having issue with the printer stopping during prints as many have mentioned. I am upgraded to the latest firm ware .91.

Here is what I have found:

1) If I create a file with support structure the print will stop within a few minutes of starting
2) If I print without support structure the print will go all the way through, although the print may turn out bad as no support structure is present for certain builds.
3) I have repeated this this printing from the SD card and Computer and found no Differnece.
4) I am aware of the Repetier bug and have tried slicing at odd layers as suggested and this has not helped.
5) Support structures settings are what is defaut in Slic3r.

Overhanging Threshold: 0
Enforce Support for the First: 0
Raft Layers: 0
Pattern: rectilinear
Pattern spacing: 2.5mm
pattern angle: 0
interface layers: :0
Interface pattern spacing 0mm

Any ideas? I really need the support structures for my prints. I made a simple file that looks like a rectangle on a cylinder for testing but the printer justs hangs a few minutes in.

I would appreriate any help.

I would try an older version of Slic3r as an experiment to see if your problem is fixed.
By doing this you may fix the support problem but you may see a different problem.
Like most software that gets updated a lot, new "bugs" are introduced and I like to see
which version words best for me. The other alternative is to try a different slicer such as
Cura or Kisslicer.
The older versions of Slic3r can be found at http://dl.slic3r.org/win/old/
I probably would try version 0.9.9 and see how it works for you. They are sorted per 32 or 64 bit Windows.

You also should find the various Slic3r documentation and or tutorials and find out what all of the
various options under support actually do. It is a powerful program with many options and a guide
is a must to understand all of the options instead of just guessing what they do.

Thanks for the suggestion. Actually it is the slicer. When I use KISSLICER I can print the file with supports non problem I have tried two versions of Slic3r 0.9 and their release canidate and still no luck. I will go back to a few olders ones and see what I can find.

I appreciate the suggestion. I would be interested it know if anyone else has had the same issue after upgrading to the latest firmware with support structures and Slic3r.

Yeah I am expirencing the same problem even when I use cura for gcode. what should I do?

Do you have the latest version of Repetier Firmware installed on your electronics? I know some previous versions of Repetier has this problem.

When my printer stops the completion meter on the lcd says 100% even though it is not.
