OK so i'm looking at modding the DXF sheets so I can E-mail them off to some laser cutters for a quote.

Apart from the Tabs and Slots (as shown in image) to I need to mod any other things to accommodate a 6mm thickness? (remember i'm in UK so looks like MDF will be the frame material)

The tabs are 6.5mm high at the mo so i'll reduce this to 6mm and there slot widths are currently 6.86 so will reduce these to 6.2 - 6.3, will leave them at 25mm long.

What about these bolt nut positions do you think these need adjusting for the smaller thinkness or will I have enough "give" for the 0.5 difference?

Yes, you might want to increase the height above the top of where the nuts go.

You might also want to look at the idler arm slots for the top plate. I think you can get away with moving the top cut of the slot down for your thinner material.

You might also want to look at the geometry of the Ezstruder...

Did I get this right that you cutting back all of the tabs across the board?

When you get it built, your end stop screws will have to be adjusted a bit more than in the instruction guide...

Can't think of anything else. You'd be a candidate for the metal frame I'm building...

Yeah going to adjust all tabs across the 3 dxf files.

Had a thought and might even convert these into 3d models so i can do a virtual assembly and check alinement.

This is going to take a while. Been 10+ years since I used a CAD program, back to learning lol
Been told by one laser cutting they have 6.4mm plywood just sending the DXF's off for quote see what they say

May have to rethink the whole "I'm going to build a RostockMAX" to a "i'm building a easy to build 3D Printer" for now as i'm having trouble finsding a company to cut the frame in wood, all the "hobbyist" services don't have a laser cutter big enough for the 440mm diameter base. Or the others want a bigger batch run.

May have to print each one out and hand cut them at this rate and hope I get the slots for the frame to align.
