Well hello and salutations. I am Kyle from the greater Seattle area. I have a Thing - O - Matic and helped a client get a Uprint SE plus. I have placed my order for a Rostock Max today. So this is not my first 3D printer, but I hope it will be the best. Reading this forum and a high demand for parts helped push this decision to happen today. I will be reading through the forum more, but I could use a good starting points if anyone feels like sharing.
To hit the ground running, what should I expect to be trouble points on assembly? I saw that there some youtube videos that plan on watching.

I am new to the software Repetier host. Are there good profiles for ABS and PLA ready to be used?

What kind of updates / mods should I do while I am building the unit. I am thinking of adding some LEDs while I build it.

i strongly recommend you NOT read the manual at that link - see the Official Docs forum for the 2nd edition draft link. The first edition covered the machine shipped as part of the Indiegogo campaign and doesn't reflect currently shipping parts. It's also missing a lot of tribal knowledge that I've picked up from the great folks in this forum.

Thank you, that is the type of info I'm looking for. This level of printer design is moving so fast, that it is hard get Doc's to keep up with it.
