Printing Temperature (pic heavy)

I was bored and sperimentin' with a precision block available in "The Essential Calibration Set" off Thingiverse. I decided to raise the print temp five degrees at a time until the print failed at each extreme end. The results are interesting. At 170 degrees the filament would no stick in sufficient quantity to warrant continuing. At 175 degrees, the print failed after a few layers. The filament had stripped, I assume due to the increased speed. At 200 degrees I had a nozzle jam on the second layer. I found the quality changes in the bottom layer and overhangs to be the most interesting. I should mention Slic3r and I have an ongoing battle concerning top infill, so don't be surprised that it sucks.

No, but like I said Slic3r and I are having a running battle. Had I made this with Kisslicer they would have looked much better.

Yes it is Carl. Thanks. What's your first name?
Yes, those trick laser arms are nice so are all the options we have now.
I am so happy to get rid on the Steve's extuder, the stock arms and seeing
all the new addons. Why waste filament on Slic3r when Kiss loves our machines
so much more?

Thanks guys, for your kind remarks about the Trick Laser arms. I am pleased they improve print quality.
We are having a little bit of a challenge building them fast enough. your patience waiting for us to ship is appreciated.
Just got in parts yesterday to build (12) more sets of arms, trying to get some built up ahead of time.

The SeeMeCNC guys have a set of my arms on their machine at the SF Maker Faire coming up this weekend, might get some more interest?

Now that one made me laugh. I wouldn't change it either. It's an expression of yourself and what you choose is
your business. Now if I can get it out of my nightmares I'd be happy! (just kidding).
