Posting Tips

Hi, just posting a tip (from my groupware consulting days)
For the benefit future readers, sometimes a conversation thread becomes too long and covers too many topics. For example, someone posts on a particular problem and then all sorts of related questions come into the thread. The thread becomes up to 20 pages when only part is about the actual original topic.
If you have a related question that can probably stand on its own, make a new post and private message the person who is likely to answer it.
This helps with searching a great deal. For those that read this forum closely or people with OCD like me, it saves them from reading all posts and all threads. It also helps a topic stand on its own for the sake of the topic.
I realize this is a "nit" however, a helpful one.
