New Printer Software help

Hello all, I have been assembling like crazy of the past few days and now I thought I was going to get to see this thing come alive. I am having some difficulties following the setup.
I am at the point where I issue the "M119" command but nothing happens. The "command waiting" count just continues to climb.
Any thoughts?

Looks like it was the Baud Rate
For some reason which I do not know, 250000 did not work, I had to change it to 115200 in the config .h file. Any one know why the high baud did not work? Is it a computer limitation? Will my prints be affected with this slower baud rate

my laptop computer wont go up to 250000 on the port that the rambo is plugged into, so I just used the highest setting. I still have my rep host at 250000 though and it works.

great thanks.
I have another quick question regarding the Calibration of the z axis. The manual on page 86 goes over z axis calibration. The last paragraph on the page reads... "Now that you have got the Z axis set....". The instructions never tell you to "set" anything. It just says go down and touch a piece of paper. Is something missing or implied that I fail to see?

In the prior paragraph it tells you to make some adjustments. this is what your setting.
the idea is to jog your z axis all way the down till it touches the paper, read the z height in rephost and adjust those numbers so it sits at zero.
If it doesn't touch the paper, and your z height is at 0, you need to adjust the height so you can go down till you touch the paper.
hopefully that makes sense.

I know but it is not clear to me what I am too do. I changed Z_HOME_POS so I can reach the paper. Then it says "fine tune.. by adjusting the end_stops" Fine tune to what? What am i setting or tuning against.. It just says "fine tune!

dont worry about the fine tuning part yet, you will make adjustments later when you go to check if your platform is moving in the same plane as the work surface.
just make sure that when you touch the paper that your not squishing the paper, you should be able to slide the paper between the nozzle and the surface with a slight drag, when your z is at zero.

what firmware are you using?
look for something that says "invert dir" for the axis your looking for, and change it to true or false to change directions.
