PLA stuck in bowden tube

A piece of PLA broke off inside the bowden tube. I think it melted too soon.

There's nothing left to grab onto on the ends with pliers.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to remove it?

I'm thinking it may need to be melted out.

Got it out.

The push to connect connectors can be removed by pushing down on them.

The PLA was jammed inside the PTC connectors. It seems like PLA can melt in there even at 190 C.

Do you mean that your PTC connectors got to 190°C? That is not good. These connectors should never get anywhere close to that temperature.

I cannot stress enough that if you're going to print with PLA, you have a fan installed to cool the PEEK portion of the hot end. A 25mm fan is a perfect friction fit between the melamine mount and the plastic effector mount.
