The motor and endstop cables are correctly wired and all functional, confirmed by swapping around cables to different axes and observing correct behavior (homing is interrupted when endstop switch is pushed). The homing interrupt seems to fail on whichever endstop switch is wired to the connector on the motherboard meant for the Z-Endstop.
Interestingly, when manually triggering the Z-Endstop, (simply pressing it with a pen, or raising the Z-carriage by hand), the LED by the motherboard's connector for the Z-Motor turns off. This indicates that the endstop switch is being detected, just not functioning during the homing process for the Z-Axis.
This leads us to a conclusion that the error is not with the motors or any cables. Additionally, we have tried flashing the firmware multiple times, only to have the same result.
Any advice or help would be much appreciated, as we'd love to get this machine up and running again!
