Fitting SE300 to Rostock Max v3 WITHOUT replacing RAMBo

Hi there. I am wondering if anyone knows of any guides or walk-throughs that would help me switch a Rostock v3 Max from a SE280 to an SE300 hotend. WITHOUT replacing/changing the RAMBo for a Duet? I know the SE300 won't be fully functional without the Duet, but I have an SE300 at hand ready to install, and would like to get the printer up and running quickly (i.e. without waiting for a Duet to be delivered).

I have seen it done, but I'm unable to contact the person who did it, and I'm not clever enough to figure the wiring - I really just need advice on where the wires from the SE300 hotend whip would go on the RAMBo board.

Thanks in advance!

Are you aware that if you do this, you won't have any auto-calibration ability at all?

If at all possible, get a Duet. The improvement over the RAMBo is astonishing.
