My Plotter Crash

I was testing a plotter attachment I created and on this particular run it crashed. The problem was the G3 Arch command. I had read that the firmware supported this command but apparantly not.

I used VcarvePro CAM software to generate the gcode. I had to find a post processor that did not use Arcs.

Here is a result of the success.

Now I need to go out and experiment with the pause command so I can change pens mid stream.

Nicely bended rods ;)

What current limitation do you have for the steppers?

Whatever the stock settings are. I have only made the changes outlined in the SeeMeCNC docs.

Which firmware are you using? Repetier or Marlin?

I am using marlin, as that is what is pointed to in the documentation. Other than these forums have I seen recommendations of support for any other. So from this I can only assume that the marlin firmware is the only firmware that is officially sanctioned.

Since I will be writing on my experience with the build and the operation of the machine, it is important, at least early on that I stay on the reservation whenever possible.
