I hit the Emergency Stop button while running a PID auto-tune. When my printer came back the temp was always 0 when the power supply is off. If just the USB is connect it reports 200. What's the deal?

It's probably shorted somewhere.

Even though I didn't physically touch anything? It's been working fine for about a week.

...Thanks for the help, I think you're right about shorting it. It looks like the plastic jacket on the wires to my thermistor melted, causing it to short on the hotend resistor leads. Damn. I just ordered a few of them so I'll have backups if this happens again.

The head moves around, it get's hot, things can move, insulation can melt.
The device it's self is very simple, it's unlikely to fail.
My heated bed thermister read 240 when I assembled it, one wire was shorted against the metal on the outside of the heated bed center hole. Measuring the resistance it was in the right ballpark, I ended up having to disassemble it and place some Kapton under the connections.
