V4 anytime soon?!
V4 anytime soon?!
The v3 was a great design, GREAT design. I am 17 years old and it as my first build was awesome. From the V1 to the V3 a lot of course has changed. I can't imagine what will be done for the V4, but that arises my question. Any ETA for a V4?

Re: V4 anytime soon?!
Considering the time-lines they tend to go for, I would not expect a V4 any sooner than 2019. However, it is likely that if there are improvements to be had, they will go with their usual rolling release strategy. After all, the V2 changed the power supply, carriages, and arms over it's lifespan, and was designed with some compatibility with the EZR-struder (I'm not sure if it ever shipped with them however), not to mention a large number of tweaks in the lasercut design.
If anything, I would be more interested in something like an H3 where they take the hacker series as far as practical, towards what the Max Metal does, but with their own flair and design insights, as well as a complete platform (No offense, but with the fragmentation between the different printable parts and the TrickLaser's, and the lack of a single complete solution, I see this as something that could be greatly improved on). Perhaps a linear rail based delta.
But with the H2, V3, and any further work on the Droplit lineage, they have a lot on their plate, not to mention potentially proving out the Archim board for eventual release, potential improvements in the Orion and Eris, and probably some tinkering with the Part-Daddy. I'm going to say I don't think a V4 is likely any time soon.
