Battling Cobwebs

My prints are so close to perfect, but I'm still seeing some light cobwebby stringing between towers.

I have spent a lot of time on this forum gathering best practices (thanks, everyone). Here is a list of things I've done:
  1. Lowered retraction distance from S3D's 6.5mm recommendation, down to 2mm (1mm showed more strings)
  2. Lowered retraction speed from S3D's 110mmps recommendation, down to 22.5mmps
  3. Added vertical lift of 4mm
  4. Added coasting distance (extrusion cutoff before retraction) of 1mm
  5. Experimented with temperature to find lowest point where it reliably extrudes (with my Hatchbox PLA gold, it's 208°C)
My S3D retraction settings are pretty much stolen from geneb:

I'm not yet knowledgeable enough but to shoot in the dark, trying different things.
  • Should I try a lower speed and lower temperature? (Currently it's the default 60mmps)
  • Should I introduce a negative "Extra Restart Distance?"
  • Should I increase the coasting distance?
  • Are my prints already good enough and I'm being crazy?

Which printer and version are you using? What is your non print movement speed?

The Rostock MAX v3 (latest firmware). X/Y/Z axis movement speeds are set to 250mmps.

Quick update; I got a cobweb-free result after upping the retraction distance to 3.0. Hopefully that's the solution.
