So I had a slight issue stripping the fiberglass insulated high temperature wire , I am now looking for equivalent wiring to order to replace my mistake. I am trying to figure out the minimum specs that this wire needs to meet so that I can order some and finish my build. Is there anyone out there that could point me in the direction of where I might find a minimal amount of something equivalent? I just don't want to get something that is the wring gauge or won't withstand the heat and. Thanks.

If it's for the hotend, then 20 gauge silicone jacketed wire or a slightly larger size should work (I would personally use something like 16 gauge, as it's still a rather compact wire and gives plenty of margin). I would go for wire that can withstand at least 5A of current at 90C, and it needs to be stranded (preferably finely), to withstand the flexing involved.

yeah its for the hotend. I was going to do the silicone jacketed wire I just was not sure if it would withstand the heat enough, since fiberglass insulated wire would be rated up to 482C. Thanks
