So I caved last night and ordered last night without the Raspi option from MatterHackers.com being too impatient to wait for the Raspi version to be available, and of course this morning they are available from seemecnc's website. So...

What all is needed to add the Raspi option? I see several options on Amazon in kit format, any particular recommendation?
Are there other "better" options such as https://www.seemecnc.com/products/matte ... 7133209412 that should be considered?

you could just buy a rasberry pi on Amazon for $35...

I have the tablet you linked. I'll sell it to you for 100.00

That should give you an idea of what I think about it. The issue is that your stuck with matterslicer, which is sh** spread on top of vomich... and the "cloud" features it routes are terribly implemented. I'm currently using the tablet as a mqtt server...

The many kits for Raspi made me wonder if I should be grabbing some accessories to go with it.

I was guessing that would be the opinion on the tablet option, but it made the point easily
