I'm having trouble hitting the goldilocks tension on the extruder and think I might try wrapping the rollers in heatshrink tubing. I'm not sure if anyone has tried anything similar.

I would check that both rollers are turning and not slipping first.
The rollers have a lot of grip if it's assembled properly, it's extremely easy to assemble it so it nearly works.

I know they're turning. It looked more like the filament was slipping to me. But, when I get home tomorrow the plan is to re-assemble it. I'm at work and just bouncing around ideas in my head.
