So, what got me into 3D printing was a project I started exactly 2 years ago was a project to put up ws2801 LED lights on the Eve's of my house.
Namely the enclosures for the controllers. I have made a whole lot of iterations, from hard wired to rf433 and now I'm using esp8266 wifi control.. And this will be my enclosure for the user interface..
It will hold an 7" touchscreen, arduino due, esp8266, and a rotary encoder for more fine tuned control... It will also have a small strip of ws2812 that shine through the case to show color/speed/pattern during set up.
I had to print it vertically cause it was too big to print flat... Made the print take 5x as long, big atleast It printed well!
