Disclaimer: not a member, associate, investor, etc.....just think this is pretty cool and has a solid community behind it just like ours.....pretty cool. Maybe new updated Rostock Max project could be benefit with a new release now..especially with those REALLY cool magnetic U-Joints....?!?!?? Just saying........

What do people think

Work out what you spend on filament a year.
Compare that to the price of the filament extruder.
Realize it produces filament very slowly and you have to add power costs to the raw pellet cost.
To me I just can't see it as being worth while, it's almost certainly a net win cost wise, but given my expenditure on plastic in a year, it isn't worth the effort to me.

I agree....but it's still a pretty good "community" involved project.yes?? Much like RS MAX....which thought would have better indigo....reception.......

I pledged to Filastruder on Kickstarter for $175.

Hopefully it will be able to produce good multi-color filament like tie dye, rainbow, etc.
