Hello from Portland, Oregon

I just got my account activated. I've been active in 3d printing events here in Portland for about a year but have been really wishing for my own printer. I especially love Shashi Jain's Portland 3d Printing Lab meetup group http://www.meetup.com/Portland-3D-Printing-Lab/. Some of you from Portland might even have met me there. I'm Gregory Propf IRL. I'll post a picture soon. Anyway, I finally decided to get a printer and have pretty much settled on the Rosktock Max V2 kit due to its large size and the many positive things I've heard in person and online about it. I wanted a kit not just because of the lower cost but to gain experience building, fixing, and hopefully modifying and improving these wonderful devices!

You will indeed learn a lot and have a blast building the printer and a great feeling of satisfaction when it is completed.
