Leslie Pool - Chlorine floater replacement

So the sun has baked the twist-off lid on my pool chlorine floater. Instead of driving down to Leslie Pools and buying a new one for $16.00, I designed and printed a replacement our of high-impact polystyrene for about $2.00. It has been out there for the past three weeks and shows no sign of corrosion.
