Rostock Max v2 Delta Arms issue

Post by PJJ »

whats up everyone I'm new to this forum and just recently bought my new rostock 3d printer. Well i finally have finished setting it up (took about two weeks) and begin to turn it on and configure it and thats where my problems occured. I am trying to configure the printer to end up creating my first print. However upon trying to i try to get the rostock delta arms to move and when i hit the home button on the software nothing moves. the arms never move not even a inch. Also the heating bed cuts on and gets to the temperature i set it (55C) but the extruder does not get to the temperature i set (200C). I was wondering if anybody has ever heard or have had experience with this issue before. The software I am using is repetier host however i did try matter control first like the documentation said and that also didnt work. I really want to start printing lol PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Does the lcd panel work? Can you adjust the z height or home?

Have you done the endstops properly?

That should not matter.

Can you please take a picture of the RAMBo and the endstops?

Also when you said the M119 command shows L, was that with or without you holding each switch closed with your finger? Just trying to get an idea if the switches are wired for NC or NO. (Also make sure each cheap-skate is pulled away from the switches when running M119)

attached is a few pictures of the rambo and endstops. Also when i m119 shows L, it is without holding the switch with my fingers. They change to H when i hold them.
