Matter control wouldn't allow cancel or pause during print

Post by jram »

Hello, working on doing my 3rd print after the 2 fan shrouds, I'm using mater control. I've tried to pause and/or cancel a print and Matter control just keeps on moving. Additionally, the timer will say that it's printed x amount of minutes when nothing is happening on the printer. What is happening? Is there a setting I've missed? Any help is appreciated. Note: while it's saying that it's printing "homing axis" is displayed over the top of the print name. Any help is appreciated

I know you can't cancel a print when it's warming up, due to the GCode not being fully executed (it cannot cancel until current instruction finishes), this maybe the case that you have also.

Thanks add1ct3dd, Is the print affected if I override the noz and bed temp with the controls? Am I basically waiting for the bed and noz to get up to temp before I hit the print button?

Yeah you're waiting for it to get up to temp :)

I find once it's printing the "Tuning adjustment" in matter control doesn't actually work - if you want to change anything (I often change speed), do it via the LCD :)
