Cleaning the burnt melamine edges

Post by Kitecraft »

Hello
While cutting out and removing the first melamine parts, I noticed that my fingers were getting quite dirty from the burnt edges. That then transferred to everything else I touched.
Sanding all those edges and angels and bits seems like a lot of work. Is there a quicker solution to cleaning up all these edges?
I tried searching, but everything seemed to be about cleaning hot-ends and glass.

Thanks

Just use a rag really quick, light isopropyl alcohol or windex would help. Vigorously scrub the edges of all the pieces. They'll quickly stop transferring the colour and the smell will go away.
