Newb building a delta

Post by Code »

Hey all,

I met some of the seemecnc guys up at the midwest reprap festival in elkhart earlier this year. Kind of fell in love with deltas. So I decided to jump into the deep end and build one. Joined up to learn and ask questions as I go. Haven't dealt with much on the electronics end. So.....hi!

Welcome.

You know what they say. As boys grow older, the only thing that changes is the price of their toys :)

Nice! You'll have a blast.

I was fresh out of the gate when I got my Rostock too, but the manual written by geneb and with the help of everyone on here, it was great. You learn a lot really fast.

Oh, download the manual now, and hunt those connectors down.

I would recommend getting an extra glass plate.

I'll look up the manual thanks! The one i'm building i found on thingverse looks pretty good all in all (it's the bi v1 from that boots made). Looking up electronics. I'll start going forum specific but any thoughts about the sain parts? Mixed reviews from what i've seen.

Anyway, thanks for the tips hope to contribute sooner or later myself! haha
