Hello from Atlanta

Post by techstorage »

Hi,
Working in Atlanta Ga and needed something for my free time. Family is still living in Minnesota and my wife and I travel back and forth. (hence the melting snowman) I received my Rostock Max V2 and thanks to Astorboy907, I am building the Astrosyn Dampeners into the machine the first time.

As a 25 year flight simulator tech for the airlines, I can really appreciate the Delta design. Looking forward to seeing what this Delta printer can do.

Hi Nitewatchman,
Yes, Delta Air lines is the sim shop I am at in Atlanta. Started with NATCO then NWA in Minnesota, after the merger the shops were combined to Atlanta. Nice winters down here.

I have sat in a Delta seat for almost 4 million miles now. All in all a very positive experience.

Welcome to the forums!

I can personally vouch for the huge difference in noise that Astroboy907's dampers make.

My printer barely even hums now! Comparable to a PC with fans running.
If at first you don't succeed, you're doing something wrong. Try again, and if it fails again, try once more. Through trial and error, one can be the first to accomplish something great.
