Casco Bay Designs MAX 2 build

Post by Kevinvandeusen »

Got the crazy idea to paint it red, to get rid of the smell mostly. It looked pretty bad, until I stripped off the paper! I like it! Took 2 half hour sessions to paint, and I strip the paper as I go, for less monotony! Did this much assembly tonite in 2 hours. Including stripping paper!

Sunday afternoon work! Closer to printing! Got my delta arm slides a little reversed, and had to redo, but all in all, easy peasey! Maybe a notice in the manual about how the front and rear have offset screw holes so you cannot mess up!

I am loving building my max2! I put the top section base plate on upside down! The extruder and filament mounts are backwards. Will this work, or do I need to flip it over?

Personally, I would flip it over so everything is oriented the correct way.

well, I moved them to the ports next to where the manual said to connect, and it works! they are now plugged in the set closer to the motor wires, not closer to usb as shown on manual...
