SeeMeCNC screwdriver

Post by int2str »

Came across this on Repables and figured I'd have to give it a shot:

Didn't even notice there's a SMCNC logo on the bottom until it printed the first layer :)
The driver came out absolutely fantastic! The bit fits very snugly right off the printer. No filing, nothing.

Very nice piece! The knurling came out great.

I liked them so much I decided to make 5. Actually 5 spread out around my build plate was to allow cooling between layers as I was using ABS. ANYWAY, I went to my daughters concert and found this on my return. I hate this ABS so much I almost let it finish.

If you glued that to posterboard and framed it, you might be able to sell it as art. It's certainly a one-of-a-kind original.

Hehe, dang, so long story short, i had an attack of "comically large printing" last week. If you think THIS is big, you should see the penny bottle opener steve drew up that i scaled to 322 mm tall on end and printed @ home!

Wait!!! Scale it up so the hex bit hole is the same size as a normal screwdriver handle. Then you'd have a handle for those "high torque" situations!!
