Coolio

Post by jbinion »

Received my machine today, and it came with the four axis board, but the manual is for the three axis board. Is there a replacement instruction set available?
Thanks!

First three sub assemblies finished and Thermastat almost finished. My wife is doing the termostat and I get the mechanical junk. Waiting to see if I can get a heated bed assembly so I can do ABS, if not I'll have to order some PLA. HOPE to have the machine up and running by the end of next weekend..

jbinion, I put the last 5 beds left from the group buy on the website just a little bit ago, there's only 5 so if you want one soon, jump on those. We're going to be ordering more, with a blue solder mask, and we put those up on the indiegogo campaign

Thanks! I'll have to check with the boss before I order...
So after getting almost finished with step four I realized I had the motor mount upside down. Funny how it sits so much better now that I have it right.. It's starting to look like the pictures. Going to start step 5 tonight!!!!

Bummer..
Short on hardware, and being as it's 5-40, not something I can pick up around here. Hope it doesn't take too long to get it sent.

So, it has been just shy of a month and we are doing our first print now. Had a few problems with getting the filament to go through the silly thing and had to tighten up the parts inside the extruder, seems to be working now. Love the pretty pink filament...

I will be posting the print when it is finished, but I'm really not expecting it to look great.

Sweet deal jbinion. Sometimes, you learn more from having "issues" than you ever will NOT having them, trust me haha

Parts got here yesterday and I didn't check the mail???? lol family picnic today but I was able to rebuild the extruder with the new black parts. Tonight when we get home I can do the hot end so Monday night we should be back in business with a fan to keep from having problems.
