Steves hot-end all wrapped up

Post by bvandiepenbos »

It looks ugly, but it helps prints not getting so mushy from all the heat radiating off the the big round hot end and shorter "new" nozzle. The older longer acorn shape worked better guys! ( Oly, Steve )
Running a fan on print helps print quality a lot also.
yes, even with ABS.

bed is 85c
and has a piece of 1/4" thick glass with hairspray.
I am running a small Phebe 1 heated bed from my old SeeMeCNC H-1 Printer, not the round Onyx.
Just been to busy to put the Onyx on. besides most things I print fit the small bed.
