Stringing issue

Post by Koston555 »

Can anyone lead me in the direction of the issue that may be causing this? I've tried changing several different settings by advice of others, but nothing yet it only does it on these inside diameters, nowhere else.. I'm printing PLA at 210C 58bed temp, 5mm retract, 0extra after retract, 300mm/sec non print moves,

Those look like the angular pillars caused by retracts.
I would suggest checking the bowden tube has not worked loose.

You are talking about where the brass fitting screws into the top of the hot end right?

Either there or on the extruder. If you retract the filament 50-100mm then see if there is any movement when you push or pull on the bowden at each fitting.

the small metal ring that bites into the end of the plastic tube tends to chew up the tube after a while and needs to be re-fixed.
If there is movement you may be able to fix it by pulling up on the release ring and shoving the tube in hard. Sometimes more drastic measures are needed like clipping of the damaged end of the tube.
