Re: Repetier firmware for RoMax V2
Def is cause by a thermistor interruption. One of the thermistors have either shorted (the wires touched each other) or temporarily lost connection somewhere. Check the wiring. It is not a firmware issue. The firmware just shuts down the heaters when the fault is triggered to prevent a runaway over ...

Repetier firmware for RoMax V2
Having trouble with the latest release of the firmware. On a V2 the temps keep flipping to "def" for no good reason. I can restart the machine, set the temps with the encoder, start a print off the SD card, and at some point soon after it starts printing the LCD reads "def' where the current temps ...

Re: Multirotor GPS tracking
Two of the three in there I explained I can't use, and the third is essentially the same as the Tile. Anyone else have suggestions?626Pilot wrote:http://www.dronethusiast.com/how-to-track-your-drone/

Re: Eris 1st Layer Density
I'm guessing it has something to do with the first layer width setting if it's Mattercontrol. It seems to do some silly things, and has either MM or percent, without an indicator as to which that isn't in the box itself, and no good explanation of how to write it or the default. That's it! Yes ...

Multirotor GPS tracking
Hey all. This question is for anybody to particularly addressed to Oly. I got a Phantom 3 Std from the wife for Christmas. Before I send it on any long range missions I want to fit it with something that will help me find it should something go wonky. My first thought was to strap a Tile to it, but ...

Eris 1st Layer Density
This is probably an operator error, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get a proper first layer on the Eris. It always prints something that looks like a raft (see below) even though I definitely don't have a raft set in the slicer. Someone care to tell me in what way I'm being stupid?

Re: Repetier Firmware
When I went in and looked it was set up for 15 tooth pulleys by default. I had to change it to 20 to make it work. It's been working great today, though I would like to hear more about this delta radius correction. My Onyx does seem to bow up in the middle, and I've read that's not unusual. It ...

Re: Repetier Firmware
I discovered the main culprit in my case was related to this section here at about line 96 of configuration.h #if DELTA_DRIVE_TYPE == 0 #define BELT_PITCH 2 // Pitch in mm of drive belt. GT2 = 2mm T2.5=2.5 etc... #define PULLEY_TEETH 20 // how many teeth on the timing pulley #define PULLEY ...

Repetier Firmware
So the SeeMeCNC team came up last night and two of us got new firmware for our bots. The other Kevin had a problem where we originally thought we could set the steps/mm setting in the EEPROM, but it turns out that doesn't work and causes the effector to move in a bowl shaped area when it's supposed ...

Print Not Correct Size
My Rostock MAX prints are dead-on exactly now long they should be, but not quite the right width. A 20x20mm cube, for example, is 20.01 long, but about 19.65 - 19.75mm wide. It's pretty consistent (the variability I attribute to my measuring) even when i change the print. A 50mm wide print, for ...

Hello From Kalamazoo
Got a Rostock MAX from my lovely wife for my 40th birthday, and I can't wait to get it printing. Have 2 Prusa i1's first built in 2011. I now teach 3D printing and 3D modeling at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts, and I organize the Kalamazoo Makers Guild Meeup Group. First question: to edge paint, or ...
