PanelDue w/7" LCD Mount
Continuing with my Duet Wifi upgrade, I needed a place to mount the PanelDue that was hopefully not as much of a magnet to my 3yr old. Check out my design on Thingiverse [img]https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/319/32708963375 ...

Ultibots FSR Kit Mount
After many attempts to get the HE280 accelerometer to run consistently on my V2 after I had upgraded to a Duet Wifi, I decided to give the FSR kit from Ultibots a try. Trying this was in no small part also inspired by mhackney's great work on the process. Some changes from mhackney's mounts on ...

Re: Yet another Duet-to-HE280 accelerometer probe adapter
Quick question if I could ask: I have a Rostock V2 with a Prometheus V2 mounted in the 713Maker effector and the accelerometer board on top running on 12V. I previously had everything running and then upgraded to the DuetWifi replacing the RAMBo in the base of the printer along with the Trinket. I ...

Re: Silencing The noise
I have a V2 where I went the Dynamat route and that did help with some of the louder, resonance buzzing. However that noise reduction is a drop in the bucket compared to what I am seeing with the Duet. Disclaimer: I have not completed the Duet upgrade yet, but even with just basic motion going and ...

Re: OctoPrint Plugin!
For other folks' reference, I have had success with this using the master branch of the Firmware (latest version). I have a V2 with a Prometheus V2, the 713Maker mount and the accelerometer probe board attached with my printed mount. My only caveat is that I had to modify Gene B's code to reduce the ...

Re: HE280 Hot End and Probe board on RMAX v2
I haven't gotten my accelerometer board wired up yet, but I made a 3D printable mounting solution for those with the 713Maker hot end hardware. I should have the STL posted up to Thingiverse shortly. I printed mine in ABS. All it needed was some 8mm M3 bolts to attach the probe board to the mount ...

Embedded Raspberry Pi for Rostock Max V2
So I have been using OctoPrint successfully and wanted to find a way to cleanly mount the Raspberry Pi within the print. So I came up with these goals and I think I found a solution that works pretty well: The Pi needed to be inside the printer for portability and cleanliness The power and at least ...

Re: Rostock Max V2 with a few minor mods
Looks well engineered. Very nice install on the ports. (Make sure the usb extension does not pickup noise) Also that insulation looks conductive. Watch out for connections in there. The USB extension has a nicely shielded cable and I haven't had any issues yet. Very happy with it. Good call on the ...

Re: Rostock Max V2 with a few minor mods
Agreed, very nice job on the belt tensioners. So the question must be asked "how did you 3D print the tensioners if you didn't have a printer with tensioned belts?" :) I took the easy way out on building the machine and grew a third arm to hold things in place. However I couldn't afford a new ...

Rostock Max V2 with a few minor mods
Just wanted to share a few of the mods I made to my V2 as I was building it up and making a few upgrades shortly after. At first it was a fairly stock build with just a splash of blue to get an R2-D2 vibe going on. After a ...

Re: Hello from Ohio
I too am a new member here in Columbus. I've been up and running for about a month with my printer and have made lots of upgrades. I had to do the painting as well on mine. I've just finished a belt tensioner idea and will post that with a few of the other mods I made. I hope to see how your paint ...
