For Sale: Rostock V2 with extras - Local Pickup Chicago Subs

Hello, I've been told I only get to keep one of my 3d printers so unfortunately I have to let my Rostock Max V2 go. I have done the following work to it. I'm asking $1200OBO. I have just recently calibrated the printer after adding the Print Zebra Plate. I mainly print ABS and PETG but the hotend ...

Re: Print Glass and all pushed off printer

Yeah it's clamped down with 6 clips. I checked the adhesion but it was really good and took a bit to get the print off . I'm thinking over extrusion also. I'll try his print and sees what I get.

Print Glass and all pushed off printer

Hello everyone! Well I have had my machine up and running since december and when printing small parts for the most part I have no issues and it looks good, but I have recently tried to print a part that about 8 inches square and up to about 4 inches high or so and somewhere between 12-24 hours into ...

Re: Profile settings

Yeah I just confirmed with them it's a bug. Very frustrating. I have since exported my settings so I at least have them if it happens again which i'm pretty sure it will.

Profile settings

Anyone else having issue with profiles just going blank? Meaning the profile name for the quality stays but all the settings disappear?

I have been having this problem and can't seem to figure out why it's happening.

Any ideas?

Additional Layer Fan Question

Hi all, I'm running some overhand tests and finding the side I have my layer fan on is curling way less. So my thought is to try the 360 degree shroud here http://repables.com/r/436/ or I'm thinking about adding 1-2 more fans. I guess the question I have isn't so much how to print the shrouds but ...

Re: Nozzle Damage

I'll have to check into that gauge. I'll admit I'm not 100% sure how use it. I'll have to do some research. Now that I have the nozzle fixed i'm running some calibration prints.

Re: Nozzle Damage

Yeah I bought 2 .5 nozzles and a .35 nozzle. I won't be caught with just 1 again. I just wanted to be sure my thought process appeared to be correct. I have done some searching about the .35 nozzle but can't figure out if it will cause me more trouble than it worth or if worth going that small for ...

Nozzle Damage

Hi all, So I was trying to calibrate my extruder and made the mistake of changing the mm/step on the towers causing my nozzle to hit the paper on top of my glass. Not realizing I changed the wrong setting in the eeprom. I think I have it corrected now but it caused the nozzle to hit fairly hard and ...

Re: Calibration and Horizontal Radius

OK so then here is the question. If i adjust the horizontal axis will I immediately see a change in the center bed macro? Or only once I adjust the towers?

Maybe i'm expecting the change to soon.

this would explain why i'm not seeing any change in the center because I haven't touched the towers.
