Re: Matter Control Extrusion Width
I just got Simplify3D running with our RoMax and the problem isn't there. Also, I can change the extrusion width setting on there (why that setting is missing from MatterControl I have no idea). I'll just be using S3D instead of MatterControl, you have a lot more control over print settings with it ...

Re: Matter Control Extrusion Width
@ IMboring25, Definitely not a steps/mm issue as I've calibrated that and it's been good. The rest of the prints look pretty much flawless until it comes to flat surface layer infill. I can't for the life of me figure out the issue. I've played around with the extrusion multiplier just to check and ...

Matter Control Extrusion Width
Since switching to Matter Control from Repetier I am having issues with my surfaces not being completely solid. There are spaces between the lines that weren't present when using Repetier and Slicer. I assume it's an issue with the extrusion width setting but I can select nor even find it in Matter ...

RoStock Temp reading off by abot 30C
I've upgraded to an E3D v6 not too long ago and changed the appropriate settings in the firmware, yet the readings are still off by about 30C. Does anyone have some tips or solutions for this?

No Exporting to SD Card?
Does matter control not support exporting directly to an SD card or am I missing something. If so, is that support coming soon? I've just switched from Repetier to Matter Control and I have to say the lack of exporting directly to the printer is a giant pain in the ass and seems like a huge step ...

Need older Rostock Max V2 Manual
Does anyone have the older version of the Rostock Max V2 manual? The one right before they switched to Matter Control? We have a couple printers here and have had them all running on Repetier so I would rather keep that standard. I had to reformat my PC over the weekend and lost that PDF as well as ...

Re: Latest Repetier and Cura Issues
Is there anyway you can post your settings? Screenshots or something? Gcode as well. The Gcode on mine is what came stock with the new version of Repetier.

Latest Repetier and Cura Issues
Hey everyone, I just updated to the recent version of Repetier and was trying out Cura for the first time. When I start a print that I uploaded to the SD card, I for one get errors while uploading, and two, when I start the print from the SD card it just very very slowly moves down along the z-axis ...

Bed Heating Slowly
I recently reinstalled the firmware and went through the initial setup of our RoStock Max V2 while installing an E3D V6, Everything is working great but our heated bed takes a crazy amount of time to get to temp.. even after the PID autotune. Is there something in the EEPROM I can change to make ...

[Help] E3D V6 Install Guide?
Hey guys,
I ordered an E3D V6 to upgrade my RoStock Max V2 but am having troubles finding a guide. Can someone point me in the right direction? Also, there is a store credit available to anyone that has a guide. T

I'm not very familiar with multimeters so I'm not sure if I have it on the right setting. I'm getting a reading of @12 on both ends when I have it dialed on the 20 of the VDC of multimeter.

Re: Nozzle Not Heating
I'm not 100% positive since I wasn't here, but I was told they went bad. When I got here they were loose in the RTV and when I took them out there were gouges in the coating. I re-routed all the connections from the resistor and even to the RAMBO just to make sure they are all connected right. I ...

Re: Nozzle Not Heating
The board is supplying power. I also disconnected the the wires from the resistor and measured the resistance, it was reading at about 7, but I'm not sure I am doing that part right because I just replaced the resistors so there shouldn't be an issue there.

Re: Nozzle Not Heating
Upon further inspection I think there is something wrong with the heating resistors. When I touch them they are could to the touch and it should be burning my fingers. I'm guessing there is a wiring issue somewhere but I am not 100% positive where these are wired to. I've replaced both of the white ...
